The Fondazione Bellini and Centro Studi Belliniani have set up an archive, open to scholars and researchers, which includes digital and/or microfilm reproduction of all the primary sources (music, librettos, correspondence, various documents) concerning Bellini’s life and works. The collection features autograph manuscripts (including drafts and sketches) and both manuscript and printed musical scores, as well as a huge collection of letters. Scholars and researchers may also refer to the scientific and journalistic bibliography on Bellini and the historical context in which he lived, as well as the most important audio-visual recordings of his works and documentation on the wide-ranging iconography concerning the composer himself and performances of his operas.
